A patriotic charcuterie board is a simple and festive addition to your holiday celebrations. Whether you are having a Labor Day or Memorial Day picnic, a Fourth of July swim party, or an election watch party, you can’t go wrong with a delicious tray of cheeses, meats, olives, nuts, and fruits. This year we decided to change it up by adding a yummy Blueberry Goat Cheese Dip.
Board Ingredients
Blueberry Goat Cheese Dip (recipe follows)
4 provolone slices
1 cup pistachios in the shell
½ cup olives
24 crackers
1 cup blueberries, rinsed and dried
2 cups strawberries, rinsed and dried
6 slices turkey, rolled
8 slices salami, quartered
Board Directions
I am a self-proclaimed cheese addict and can’t imagine a charcuterie board without at least two different cheese options. The star of this show is a bowl of Blueberry Goat Cheese Dip in the middle of your board. Next, create patriotic cheese stars. We used a small cookie cutter to form stars from slices of the provolone cheese.
Bring in more star shapes by using a specialty star-shaped bowl for your dip. Layer the nuts, olives, and crackers around the dip, then place the fruit and meat. Finally, add your patriotic provolone stars across the board. This beautiful and tasty board will be a memorable treat to celebrate our country.

Directions
Slightly warm and soften goat cheese in a bowl so it has a creamy texture. Mix in the blueberries, and add powdered sugar for sweetness. Stir carefully and spoon into a small serving dish, or form into a roll and chill before adding it to your board.
